EEE Projects

EExplainers: a project to explain Electrical Engineering concepts at different levels of difficulty.

ISSIE: a teaching tool to teach Imperial College EEE students about digital design concepts.

Design of a Spatial Power-Combining Reflectarray Antenna: a project with DSO National Laboratories in Singapore. This project won the Most Creative Design Award at the International Students’ Science Fair 2019.

Comparison of Reflectarray Antennae with Different Lattices using elements with Two Axial Symmetry: a project with DSO National Laboratories in Singapore. This project won Silver at the Singapore Science and Engineering Fair 2018, was presented at the International Researcher’s Club on Science, Engineering and Technology 2018, winning the Best Paper Award, and was presented at the CST ASEAN Users Conference 2018.

Outreach Projects

m*Aths Online Programme: I was a mentor for state school students from under-represented backgrounds considering studying a maths-related degree at university.

Sparked: the corporate social responsibility arm of Sealed Network, a Southeast Asia-focused expert network. I connected over 30 mentees with experts from areas such as Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Consulting, Entrepreneurship and more in my time leading the programme.

Code in the Community: a project to teach coding to underprivileged children in Singapore. This project was supported by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore and Google.

Project Saga: a student-led outreach project in Singapore with the purpose of raising interest of Singapore’s history to underprivileged children. I led this project’s initiation, growth and handover. We impacted over 100 children through several activities over multiple years, including amazing races around Singapore’s historical landmarks, and was supported by the National Heritage Board and Central Singapore Community Development Council amongst other partners.

Interdisciplinary Projects:

Futuro Conectado: a project as part of the C40 Students Reinventing Cities competition where we designed a sustainable community in the Mouraria district of Lisbon.

Ritsumeikan Super Global Forum: as a delegate, we discussed multidisciplinary approaches to alleviating world poverty with students from around the world.
